Solutions
We don’t sell software.
We build the thing that fixes your problem.
Ricochet builds and operates custom solutions for owner-led businesses — live dashboards, back-office automation, purpose-built apps, and lead engines. Every build starts from the same question: where is the owner the bottleneck? We automate the processes that pile up on your desk — the books, the quotes, the follow-ups, the reports — so decisions keep moving without you in the middle and your team gets more done in the same day.
We run companies ourselves, so everything here was built the way an owner needs it: your data stays yours, nothing happens without your approval, and when it’s done, you own it.
It’s the same work that produced DimpleOS — our operating system for owner-led businesses, coming Fall 2026. Every solution below is running inside a real business today. Most of them ours. That’s the point: we dogfood everything before we’d ever put it in front of you.
The live owner dashboard — Parker Electric Company
The problem: The owner’s real numbers lived in five places — the accounting file, the field-service app, the bank, a spreadsheet, and his head. “Are we on track?” took a weekend of pulling reports.
What we built: A single live dashboard that reads directly from the systems the business already runs on (Jobber for field ops, Xero for the books). Cash position, a rolling 4-week cash forecast, outstanding invoices, jobs in flight — one screen, updated from the source systems, on his phone.
The part most vendors won’t do: Every number is labeled with where it came from and how fresh it is. If a data source degrades, the dashboard says so — it never fabricates a number to look finished. Owners make real decisions off this screen; it has to be honest before it’s pretty.
Payroll & bookkeeping automation — Parker Electric Company
The problem: Weekly bookkeeping and payroll check-runs ate owner hours, and manual classification meant errors found months later.
What we built: A daily bookkeeping worklist that classifies bank transactions automatically against durable rules — with the odd ones routed to a person, not guessed at — and a payroll check-run generator with the guardrails an owner actually worries about: owners and cross-company people are excluded by rule, not by memory. It writes back to the accounting system only through an approval gate. The office starts each day with a short, clean worklist instead of a month-end dig.
A purpose-built jobs CRM — AnchorPoint Exteriors
The problem: A paid CRM subscription that couldn’t answer the one question that mattered — what actually sold, for how much — and charged monthly for the privilege.
What we built: A custom jobs pipeline that replaced the subscription outright: leads through jobs through quotes in one place, wired to the field-service system. Quotes are generated as drafts with live pricing and approved from Slack — the estimator taps approve, the quote goes out, and nothing sends without that tap.
The punchline: the subscription is gone. The replacement is theirs.
Salty Carbs — digital marketing one person can actually run
The problem: A solopreneur wellness business paying agency prices for an all-in-one marketing platform: monthly fees, someone else’s roadmap, and client data locked in someone else’s system.
What we built: A digital marketing tool built for a business of one — memberships, scheduling, campaigns, and the client experience in one place the owner actually controls. Rebuilt from the ground up, cut over live, and sized so a solopreneur can market like they have a team. Same business, own stack, no landlord.
Lead engines that land in your database
The problem: Lead forms that dead-end in an inbox — or worse, in a platform you rent.
What we built (and run on our own businesses): Ad-to-appointment pipelines — Meta lead ads and website forms that drop every lead into a database the business owns, fire an instant Slack alert to the person who should call, and track the lead from new to booked to sold. We ran AnchorPoint’s Home Makeover Giveaway on this pipeline, and dimpleos.com — our own product site — runs the exact same funnel. We sell what we use.
Have a problem that looks like one of these?
You don’t need to know what the solution is — that’s our job. Tell us where the hours or the money are leaking and we’ll tell you, straight, whether it’s worth building. If it is, we build it, we run it with you until it’s boring, and you own it.
