Public Bid Intelligence

The problem

Public bids are scattered across state registries, university bulletins and agency portals. New ones are posted every day, and their titles rarely say what is actually being bought. A small firm either misses the right bids or spends hours reading the wrong ones.

What we built

A system that runs every weekday morning:

• It reads every open solicitation from the Georgia Procurement Registry, Illinois BidBuy and the Illinois Public Higher Education Procurement Bulletin, including each bid's detail page, contacts and documents. On 3 November 2026 that was 544, 118 and 10 open bids.
• It scores each bid against our service areas. An AI reviewer then gives every match a pursue, maybe or pass verdict with a one-line reason, and a digest arrives by email.
• It sends one reminder when a pursued bid is a week from closing.
• It reports any source it could not read, instead of skipping it quietly.
• Once a week it groups a year of purchases (7,600 Georgia bids) into needs that recur across agencies, as product research.

Results

• Built and running within one day.
• On its first morning it narrowed 544 open Georgia bids to 17 for review, and picked out the 2 worth pursuing.
